Ready to add some attacking elements to your game?

This two-day camp is all about playing on the front foot. Whether you’re naturally aggressive or looking to develop a more proactive style, this is your chance to learn from one of the game’s most relentless competitors.

Led by three-time World Champion Nick Matthew, the camp focuses on how to take time away from your opponent, control the middle, and create pressure through pace, positioning, and intent. Nick wasn’t known for reckless attacking – he built his success on an exceptional volleying game, relentless intensity, and a short game he developed over time.

Across the weekend, you’ll work on stepping forward with confidence, learning how and when to inject pace, apply pressure, and take the ball in short. You’ll leave with the tools to be braver, more clinical, and more in control of your attacking options.

If you’ve ever wondered how top players dominate rallies, force errors, and finish when it counts – this is the place to learn it.

Train with a Legend

Nick Matthew’s career speaks for itself – three World titles, three British Open wins, and over 20 years of competing at the very top. Now, you can train with him directly and learn the secrets behind his attacking mindset.

Nick will bring his experience, insight, and trademark intensity to the court, helping you understand what it really means to play on the front foot. With tailored feedback and a coach-to-player ratio designed to maximise personal attention, this is an unmissable opportunity.

Players of all levels are welcome. If you’re looking to improve your ability to take control of rallies, make smarter decisions under pressure, and ultimately win more matches by being the player who dictates, this camp is for you.

What You’ll Learn

Over two days of intensive on-court training, supported by the SquashSkills team, you’ll cover the key components of attacking squash:

How to shift your mindset to look for opportunities to attack throughout the rally – not just when you're already on top

Why positioning and preparation are everything

The footwork patterns that allow you to move explosively off the T

The importance of volleyingcounter-dropping, and changing the pace to take time away from your opponent

How to recognise attacking opportunities earlier and commit to them with purpose

Finishing skills – learn how to hit more winners and force more errors from the front of the court

Condition games and scenario-based drills designed to simulate real match pressure and reward aggressive decision-making
