Why Join This Course

Nick Matthew is one of the most decorated players the game has seen. Three World Championships. Three British Open titles. Former World No.1. But the thing that set "The Wolf" apart wasn't a single shot or a super strength. It was the diligence underneath all of them.

He built his season on preparation. While others eased in, Nick arrived at the first tournament already sharp - because he'd done the base work when nobody was watching.

That is exactly what these six weeks are about. You get direct access to how Nick built that base: the physical and mobility work, the fundamentals, the solo practice and the discipline that let him start every season ready to perform. Delivered with SquashSkills coach Lee Drew.

And you don't do it alone. You train alongside a cohort from around the world, in a WhatsApp group with Nick and Lee active throughout, with three live Zoom calls across the six weeks. It's coaching and accountability, not just content.

Get this block right, and everything you do is built on solid ground.

What We’ll Cover:

Across six weeks you'll work through fundamentals, ghosting, off-court and mobility, physical work, solo, drills and conditioned practice.

Weeks 1-2: Building Foundations. Movement fundamentals, mobility and the base patterns everything else sits on.

Weeks 3-4: Building Volume. More load, more repetition, more time on the work that builds a season's fitness.

Weeks 5-6: Specificity. Sharpening the work into match-ready performance, so you start the season sharp rather than shaking off rust.

Best suited to intermediate players, but built to work at all levels - you bring the effort, the programme brings the structure.

The Coaches

Nick Matthew

Nick Matthew is one of the most decorated players the game has seen - a three-time World Champion, three-time British Open winner and former World No.1, known for the diligence and preparation that let "The Wolf" perform at his best from the first tournament of every season. Alongside a career built on relentless standards and hard-won super strengths, Nick has worked closely with SquashSkills to break down exactly how he trained, so club and competitive players can build the same solid base and start their own season sharp.

Lee Drew

Lee Drew is one of the UK’s leading squash coaches, known for helping players of all levels simplify complex parts of the game and turn elite-level concepts into practical improvements on court. Alongside coaching internationally ranked players, Lee has worked closely with SquashSkills to deliver detailed, player-focused training that helps club and competitive players improve faster and play smarter squash.

How It Works

A step-by-step overview of what to expect once you've signed up

Before The Course

The week before kick-off, we'll email you everything you need: your SquashSkills Training app login, the WhatsApp invite, and the date and time of the first Zoom call.

Your First Day

The course opens with a live Zoom hosted by Nick and Lee. They walk you through the six-week structure, the cohort introduces themselves, and you can ask anything about getting the most out of it. Your first sessions land in the app the same day.

The Six-Week Structure

Three blocks, two weeks each. New sessions drop on weeks 1, 3 and 5; the following week you repeat and refine them. Each week has 2 main sessions plus 1-2 bonus sessions, each 30-45 minutes.

Live With The Coaches

Three live Zoom calls across the six weeks with Nick and Lee: an introduction, a midway recap and Q&A, and a closing session that pulls it together. All recorded if you can't make them live.

Inside The Group

A WhatsApp chat with the coaches and the rest of the cohort. Ask questions, share what's working, get feedback on training, recovery, technique or nutrition. Nick and Lee are active throughout - the part most participants tell us makes the difference.

After The Course

Everything stays with you: the sessions, the Zoom recordings, the chat. Revisit the programme any time, or run the six weeks again to embed it deeper.

Testimonials From Previous Online Courses

I've completed a few of the training camps, but this one far exceeded my expectations. I loved the variety the training blocks provided. I tend to focus more on playing than training, but this STC really opened my eyes into how I could and should structure my training week around playing. I feel stronger, faster and fitter than ever and my match results are reflecting this. Thanks to the coaches and my fellow STC team mates from across the globe. The accountability, camaraderie and access to elite level coaching make these training camps something very special to be a part of.
I really recommend SquashSkills Training Courses! You can have access to extremely profound approach to the game, from the best players in the world! It's a kind of dream for us who love squash and who love learning and improving all aspects of the game! Thank you very much! Good luck!
I had an amazing time on the course and would recommend it to all levels of squash players. It re-emphasises out of court work, yet makes it fun, and the combined wisdom of the group, ad-hoc video analysis has ensured that I see tangible improvements in my game
A great well-rounded course for developing skills and fitness for the squash season. Great value!
The STC offers brilliant insights into how pro's prepare for games, both physically, and mentally. After the program concludes, you get to keep all that you have learned, including the materials describing the training program. So you can focus on the items that you feel have to be improved. During the program itself you are being cheered on by a community of your squash peers. What more could you ask for?
SquashSkills have provided a place for me to link up with other players young and old around the world as part of a community. The learning is excellent and the sharing makes it fun! The coaches are so generous with their time and advice- even when we go slightly off subject! The online group is key to my enjoyment of the training clubs and I have met so many other squash lovers -we come together to challenge ourselves and share the love of our great sport whilst learning from the best in the game. Thank you for making it a brilliant experience.
