Training /  Solo - Advanced attacking crosscourt practice (30 mins)

    • Description:Standing on the T, hit the ball crosscourt volley on the forehand off the front wall and side wall so that it comes back to you at the T. Do the same on the backhand and keep going for as long as you can continuously

    • Exercise Notes:Take rests and reposition yourself depending on whether or not the ball is coming back off the wall to where you are standing

    • Minutes on exercise:5:00

    • Description:

      Standing on the T, hit the ball crosscourt volley on the forehand off the front wall and side wall so that it comes back to you at the T. Do the same on the backhand. Once you get into a rhythm, hit short crosscourt then back into volleys

    • Exercise Notes:Take plenty of rests and when going short start by hitting the ball with plenty margin of error on the front wall, then lower as you improve

    • Minutes on exercise:5:00

    • Description:Feed the ball straight at shoulder height or above and hit crosscourt and short aiming for the 'nick' between the side wall and floor.

    • Exercise Notes:3 minutes on the forehand and backhand

    • Minutes on exercise:6:00

    • Description:Feed the ball down the middle at shoulder height and play crosscourt kills making sure the ball does not hit the side wall until after the second bounce

    • Exercise Notes:3 minutes on the forehand and backhand

    • Minutes on exercise:6:00

    • Description:Feed the ball anywhere short and play attacking shots to the front of the court.

    • Exercise Notes:Quick feet and good preparation are key!
