      In this exercise, the player is hitting straight drives back to himself alternating between one above the service line and one below. Work on manipulating the angle of the racket face, and varying the pace on the shot.

      Keep your swing smooth and relaxed, thinking about your grip and your position on relation to the ball - stay active on the feet to allow you to get into the right place to hit a consistent quality of shot.

    • Description:

      In this exercise, the player is hitting straight drives back to himself, however they can play any type of boast at any time to change sides. Try to play the boast in rhythm, thinking about your timing and the angle you're hitting the ball at.

    • Exercise Notes:Work for 3mins on the FH, and 3mins on the BH

    • Minutes on exercise:6:00

    • Description:

      Concentrate on keeping your grip soft and adaptable, allowing quick changes of the racket face angle. This is a tough exercise, so don't worry if you can only get a couple of consecutive volleys at a time - work to improve your best score
