Training /  Threes - group practise session (30mins)

    • Description:

      A great threes drill to use to work on a single shot at a time getting the feel and range of your shot. Start by being co-operative and keeping the drill going and then progress to high quality shots once got to grips with the pattern

    • Exercise Notes:Do each shot 20 times and then rotate. When all shots on one side are completed then change sides and repeat

    • Description:

      A progression from the last drill where there is a little more movement and changing of positions. Start by being co-operative in this drill and then progress to higher quality shots once the pattern is embedded and feeling good

    • Description:

      Now looking to add a bit of pressure and more explosive movement, player 1 is working from side to side hitting straight drives from the front corners while the other players are feeding drops. Go back to the T every time after each drive

    • Exercise Notes:Work for a total of 20 shots and then all rotate positions

    • Minutes on exercise:5:00

    • Description:

      Linking to the previous drill, rather than the feeders just playing drops they are now able to play a variety of shots into the front or onto the volley. Randomness is now involved to test the player that is working
