A pairs session with the emphasis on getting to grips with the basics of the game. The session is designed to start with focus of rhythm and flow with little complexity and eventually building into open drills with lots of options

    • Description:

      Both players rotating drives getting the timing and rhythm of the exercise and looking to raise the heart rate and accuracy as the drill progresses

    • Exercise Notes:5 mins on each side then swap

    • Description:

      Keeping down the same side wall now but bringing in compulsory variations of different heights on the front wall. A great way to start to develop different paces and different ways to hit the ball with the focus still on straight length

    • Description:

      Now look to progress with both players having the option of the straight kill. Still a lot of work up and down the side wall grooving the basics but now adding in the threat of a low and attacking shot to get this working seamlessly

    • Description:

      Here we bring a lot more options into play as both players can play straight or cross court to a length but there is now the threat of 1 short ball allowed by each player. This should mean both players should be higher up on the T

    • Description:

      The final part of this session focusses on players taking up a high T position and looking to sharpen up their short game. The nature of Egyptian 3/4 court encourages players to play low on the front wall and attack when appropriate
