      Linked to Nick's Intermediate volleys playlist, this exercise gets you to try and control the volley from the service box area shortening the backswing. To increase the challenge try and using different legs at different times

      In this exercise the skill is trying to improve your transitioning skills from one side of the court to the other to collect a volley. This is very useful when someone has played a cross court and you need to deal with it

      Now it will be good to test yourself as you have practised some straight and some cross court volleys. To make the challenge harder try another set standing behind the short line and compare your scores
