    • Description:

In this practice, players hit a boast so they can then play a drop. Mix the boast feeds up so that you can practice a variety of drops. 4 minutes each side.

    • Exercise Notes:In this exercise, players should practice their timing of movement onto the ball and should be trying to hit the ball at the top of the bounce. Maintaining an open racket face is key to keeping the ball up.

    • Exercise Notes:In this practice, focus on making sure you keep the grip soft when the ball is tight, while trying to be aware of your racket face and how subtle changes can influence the balls movement and spin.

    • Minutes on exercise:6:00

    • Description:

In this exercise, the player hits a simple mid court feed to then hit a straight kill shot. 4 minutes per side.

    • Exercise Notes:This practice should be focused around using the straight kill as a variation to the straight drop, so think about using a bit of deception in some of your kill shots.

    • Minutes on exercise:8:00

    • Description:

In this exercise, players will randomly feed the ball to any part of the front of the court and play any shot from this feed. Try to mix in all of the shots you have been practising during the session.

    • Exercise Notes:In the last exercise of the session, try to let go of any thoughts about technique and simply hit whatever shot you like. The important thing here is to enjoy yourself and enjoy playing some cool shots!
