Training /  Solo - Hitting the ball on the rise (30mins)

    • Description:

      In this exercise the player is hitting deep straight drives into the back corner of the court, but then looking to take the ball earlier on the rise whenever the opportunity presents itself. Vary between drives on the rise and drops on the rise

    • Exercise Notes:Work for 5mins on each side of the court

    • Minutes on exercise:10:00

    • Description:

      In this exercise the player is hitting straight drives to himself that land in the service box, looking to take the ball earlier on the rise at every opportunity. Add in the occasional drop when you feel comfortable. 

    • Exercise Notes:Work for 5mins on each side of the court

    • Description:

      Stand on the short line and try to hit continuous short drives back to yourself, allowing you to take the next shot on the rise

    • Exercise Notes:Work for 4 minutes on the forehand and 4 minutes on backhand

    • Minutes on exercise:8:00

    • Description:

      Feed boasts from the middle of the court, focus on stepping forward onto the ball so you are taking the ball on the rise with the drop.

    • Exercise Notes:Work for 5 minutes feeding to both sides
