Training /  Solo - Floorboard Squash with Luke Butterworth

    • Description:

      Starting off by working on control and accuracy. Try and hit balls continuously into the service box but avoiding clipping the side wall. Hone hitting the floorboards on all shots but keeping it close to the side wall

    • Description:

      Similar to the last exercise, but now hitting deeper with more power. The aim is to still keep hitting the floorboards and to make continual micro-adjustments as to your accuracy and placement

    • Description:

      Building on the last exercise, now bringing in more variation on the front wall but also keeping the aim to get the ball down onto the floorboards and as close to the side wall as possible

    • Description:

      Using drives down the middle as a FEED. After every few shots look to attack low either as a drop or kill. The aim being to get the ball to bounce twice before the side wall and the second bounce to be as close as possible

    • Description:

      Feeding onto the volley now with an angle, look to play that straight volley drop with the intention of making it bounce twice before the side wall with the second bounce ending as close to the side wall as possible

    • Exercise Notes:Do for a total of 5mins

    • Description:

      Self feed to the kid court and look to play an attacking straight kill by aiming to make it bounce twice before it reaches the side wall the same as in all the previous exercises
