      A great solo drill that works on a lot of factors including ball control, accuracy and racket head speed. It is also a great drill to get the ball warm when you are working on drop shots or lobs

      Use a boast so you now have to deal with different angles and paces while trying to groove your drop shots. Be sure to warm the ball up when it gets too cold

      Set yourself up with a mid court feed and spend this time practising your straight drops. You can make this drill quite active by trying to collect your own drop shot

      A solo skill session looking to work on ball control and understanding the angles to hit in order to keep the ball going for as long as possible without dropping it

      A great drill that will break down after each shot but a really great way to fine tune and hone your volley drops

      Use this drill to hit continuous volleys to yourself while in the service box. Over time start to vary the shots by taking it in short as well as hitting it to a length. A lot can be practised in this simple drill

      The most standard part of the solo but a great foundation. Use a lot of variation with heights and paces when looking to hit the ball continuously off the back wall

      A more difficult exercise than it looks, trying to hit as many shots in a row into the service box as possible. Great for accuracy, feel and racket head control

      A great solo drill for all levels. Start near the front wall and work your way backwards while keeping the ball in the air without a bounce. For the more advanced players go as far back as the back wall before moving forwards

      Focussing on how and when to execute a boast from the back of thee court. Use continuous straight drives to set the shot up and when appropriate hit a boast and continue on the opposite side

      Focussing on how and when to execute a cross court from the back of thee court. Use continuous straight drives to set the shot up and when appropriate hit a cross court and continue on the opposite side

      A great solo session to work on your racket head control. Get used to the drill by starting slow and then building up the speed to improve arm strength
