      In this exercise the player is hitting deep straight drives to themselves in the back corner. Focus on keeping a firm wrist position, and controlling your racket head throughout the swing - keep the pace slow while you develop your technique

      In this exercise, the player feeds themself to play a straight drop. Follow DP's tips and work on keeping your racket head up and above your wrist on your preparation, releasing the wrist through the shot as you complete the swing.

      In this exercise, the player is hitting straight volleys back to himself from inside the service box. Keep the racket head up with a firm wrist position, looking to take the volley somewhere around shoulder height with a short punchy swing.

    • Description:

      In this exercise, the player is feeding themself to hit a straight volley drop. Focus on a firm wrist position and an open racket face, cutting down through the ball with the final release coming through the wrist at the end of the shot.
