      Now boasting for yourself to play a straight drop. Alongside this exercise also begin to practice hitting the ball to a straight length with the same swing by using deception as discussed by Nick Matthew

    • Description:

      Now dropping for yourself to play a cross lob. Alongside this exercise also begin to practice combining any shots with the same swing by using deception as discussed by Nick Matthew

    • Description:

      Using straight drives (also varying and disguising these) look to play the boast with deception. Focus on a similar body position, shape and set up each time and varying the angle of the racket face

    • Description:

      Very similar to the above drill but now using a cross court instead. Look to vary and use all types of cross courts now

      Finishing off with this drill which is more open and varied, practice all forms of deception you have learnt from Nick Matthew now both off the volley and the bounce
