    • Description:

A skill based drill for both players to get to grips with ball control and angles on the volley. The goal is to work together to keep the ball alive and continuous for as long as possible without dropping it

    • Exercise Notes:3-mins each side then swap

    • Minutes on exercise:6:00

    • Description:

A nice and fluid drill for both players to hone in on some quality straight volley hitting off a high straight and lifted ball. Great for players to get used to hitting volleys that are high and having to reach and keep strong

    • Exercise Notes:5-mins then swap the side of the volley

    • Minutes on exercise:10:00

    • Description:

A lovely addition to the previous drill as there are 2 variables from the front now with the straight or cross lift and now the player is also working on their cross court volley skills from up high

    • Exercise Notes:8-mins trying to keep the rhythm and flow constant the whole time as per the video

    • Minutes on exercise:8:00

    • Description:

A drill to finish this section where there is a lot of length but also a lot of opportunities to anticipate the volley as you know where the next shot it going. Try and hunt and look for as many volleys as possible especially off good lengths

    • Exercise Notes:5-mins then swap the side of the cross court

    • Minutes on exercise:10:00
