    • Description:

      Isolating one quarter in the back of the court, both players need to try and get the ball into this area and at the same time looking to step forward and capitalise a volley opportunity with a straight volley drop

    • Exercise Notes:Play first to 11-points then swap sides

    • Minutes on exercise:15:00

    • Description:

      This game is one of Nick Matthew's all time favourites as it forces you to not sit back and let the ball reach the back wall. It increases players speed as well as the mindset to hunt the volley as much as possible 

    • Exercise Notes:Play first to 15-points

    • Minutes on exercise:10:00

    • Description:

      In addition to the traditional alley game, now look to add the option of a VOLLEY that can be taken into the opposite front corner. This has to be reset with a cross court lob for the game to continue down the same alley<

    • Exercise Notes:Play first to 11-points the swap sides

    • Minutes on exercise:15:00

    • Description:

      A progression to the above condition game using the alley, but here the VOLLEY now is used as a high chip lob shot to change sides of the alley as described in Nick Matthew's Advanced volley playlist
