      Focus on the key technique points of a good straight drive, thinking about positioning, racket control, and rhythm. Aim to keep the drop tight to the side wall, but at a fairly easy pace and height

    • Exercise Notes:Work for 3mins, and then switch positions with your partner. Repeat on both sides of the court.

      Play it as a straight length game between you and your partner - all balls must bounce past the short line and within the width of the service box. First to 11, then switch to other side.

    • Exercise Notes:Work for 1 game to 11, and then switch to the other side of the court.

      As for the previous game, but now with the option of playing straight short or straight long anywhere within the alley

      Look to vary your straight hitting and maximise your shots with different heights, widths, and pace
