      A great and simple drill to start with for both the server and the returner to get something out of it. As the drill explains, the server gets a point if the returner fails to volley the serve. Focus on getting the highest quality serve in place

    • Exercise Notes:Play first to 11-points with just one person serving the whole time. Then play a second game with the other player serving the whole time

      Progressing from the previous drill, the server now can only focus on executing a LOB SERVE every time. The same rules apply in regard to winning a point if the returner cannot volley your serve

    • Description:

      In this final drill, the rule now is if the receiver volleys the ball they get 1 point but the rally continues. Alternatively if the receiver fails to volley the server gets 1 point but the rally continues 

       

    • Exercise Notes:Play first to 15-points with just one person serving the whole time. Then play a second game with the other player serving the whole time
