    • Description:

      A great drill to get the player at the back focussing just on good execution of the straight drop. Focus on good spacing, getting low in the shot and avoiding the side wall when taking the ball into the drop

    • Exercise Notes:Do for 5mins each in starting positions and the swap. Do this drill JUST on the backhand side as the focus is for the backhand drop from deep

    • Description:

      Progressing from the last drill, the player at the back now hits the first shot as a deep length to themselves and then works on getting in a good position and poise to execute the backhand drop from deep

    • Exercise Notes:Do for 5mins each in starting positions and the swap. Do this drill JUST on the backhand side as the focus is for the backhand drop from deep

    • Description:

      Focus on a good execution of the drop shot from the deep backhand while in more of a moving drill. Look to get in good and low body positions to get a consistent outcome of the shot

    • Exercise Notes:Do for 5mins just on the backhand side of the court

    • Description:

      In this drill be sure to pick the correct moment to attempt to execute the deep drop from the backhand side. Work on getting good spacing from the ball and when playing the shot attempt to avoid hitting the side wall

    • Description:

      Now following on with a pattern of above, above, below along the backhand wall. It is similar to long, long, short but now the ball should be higher when about to execute the backhand drop and will pose different challenges
