Training /  Pairs - Creating flow within the shot (45mins)

    • Description:

      Player A feeds a steady pace ball to the middle of the court for Player B to hit their drive. Focus on the flow of your lunge into the shot, using the racket follow through to recoil and lead you back to the T in one fluid motion

    • Exercise Notes:Player A to feed Player B for 3mins, then switch places. Repeat on FH & BH sides.

    • Description:

      Player A feeds a steady pace high ball to the middle of the court for Player B to hit their deep volley. Aim for a rhythmic movement to and from the ball, creating flow in the shot - stay soft and fluid throughout

    • Exercise Notes:Player A to feed Player B for 3mins, then switch places. Repeat on FH & BH sides.

    • Minutes on exercise:12:00

    • Description:

      Player A feeds a drop for Player B to execute a straight drive, then plays a shoulder height feed for Player B to execute a volley drive. Work smoothly between the 2 shots, flowing to and from the T maintaining balance and control.

    • Exercise Notes:Player A to feed Player B for 3mins, then switch places. Repeat on FH & BH sides.

    • Description:

      Player A feeds to the front corner for Player B to play a drop, then ghost to the opposite back corner. Aim on moving fluidly out of the corner and through the T, using the follow through of the racket to transition from the shot into the movement

    • Exercise Notes:Player A to feed Player B for 3mins, then switch places. Repeat on FH & BH sides.
