Training /  Solo - Creating flow within the shot (30mins)

    • Description:

      Keep your drives into the box at a slow and steady pace, giving you time to create space and step in to your shot with a focus softening through your knees and hips as you hit the ball. 

    • Exercise Notes:Work for 3mins on the FH side, then switch for 3mins to the BH side

    • Minutes on exercise:6:00

    • Description:

      You will have extra time as a result of the lifted drive to focus on linking movement to the shot as well as being aware of what your follow through is doing. 

    • Exercise Notes:Work for 3 mins on the FH side, then switch for 3 mins to the BH side

    • Minutes on exercise:6:00

    • Description:

       

      This exercise brings more movement into your practice and allows you think about the weight transfer into the shot as well as using the follow through on the cross court to take you out of the back corner. 

    • Exercise Notes:Work for 5 mins, switching side to side with the cross court option

    • Minutes on exercise:5:00

    • Description:

      Make the feed easy but focus on your lunge and the softening of the knees and hips. Try extending the hand to understand it's effect on the recoil. 

    • Exercise Notes:Work for 3mins on the FH side, then switch for 3mins to the BH side

    • Minutes on exercise:6:00

    • Description:

      Focus on your movement timing as you step onto the shot and be aware of where your follow through is ending up. 

    • Exercise Notes:Work for 3mins on the FH side, then switch for 3mins to the BH side

    • Minutes on exercise:6:00
