Training /  Volleys up and down the court

    I get what you're doing, but can someone give me an idea of what the purpose of this exercise is? How do you know when you're either doing well, or at least what "doing better than the last time I practiced this" looks like? Is it just how many times you can volley before losing control, or is it aiming at a certain point on the front wall? Thanks.
