I’m blown away with this series! This guy is awesome.
For the 1st time, I’m looking forward to ghosting.

A great playlist which was explained superbly. One I will keep coming back to.

Very informative playlist. More movement-based ones would be great. Thanks.

    Great series Jesse!
Quick-quick-slow is the same rhythm/timing as two-step dancing (for all us country music fans).

Brilliant...the detail that was needed...it confirms Peter’s and Nick’s points

Perfect timing as this is a big area I am currently working on. I have implemented the wrong foot stance on my backhand and it has massively improved my movement and speed to the ball in the front. I will definitely be practicing some of the those rugby ghosting routines :)

Really good - clear explanation. Obvious similarities (unsurprisingly) with DP/Nick Matthew PowerPoints etc. Thought identification of different techniques when under pressure and not, and of hop into bh corner, v good.
One small point - while I appreciate you should ideally be able to play all shots off right/wrong foot closed/Open stance - for disguise if nothing else - the one place all the top players always play open/wrong foot is when under pressure in Fh back. Jesse played off right foot/closed in his demo - then showed examples of Matthew etc all playing wrong foot/Open.

I took a look at some of the Quick Hit videos and found much as you noted, in the forehand back corner they typically use a chassis movement to allow an open stance shot in all but the most extreme (e.g. sprinting) circumstances. I wonder if this is preference is trained, or falls into use naturally over time?

I did train to use a long step - cross behind - step pattern when under pressure, but maybe the chassis movement (once quick enough) is better?

Great playlist...or the greatest playlist? Seriously impressive movement analysis. I'll definitely be implementing this into my training.

Yeah I have to agree, my favourite playlist so far - so much to add into my game.
