Controlling the pace of play.
In every match there will be times when you have opportunities to up the pace and there will be times when you need to slow things down and defend. The key is being able to identify what situation your are in before executing your choice of shot effectively.
There are a number of different ways you can do increase the pace of play, from volleying more, to hitting on the rise to simply hitting the ball harder. Slowing things down generally involves taking pace out of a situation and using height on the front wall.
You'll learn to identify opportunities to attack and be encouraged to up the pace and take time away from your opponent. We'll also teach you how to diffuse a situation and give yourself time to recover.
We'll teach you skills that will allow you to improve your game long after the camp has finished.
